Ranked #8 in the overall SSL world skippers ranking that counts over 60000 sailors, French 470 skipper, Camille Lecointre has culminated on top of France SSL ranking since the start of the year in front of a talented field and none less than 5196 french skippers.
With no surprise her partner Aloïse Retornaz is leading the crew ranking and 5750 french sailors involved in more than 100 different classes!
The Bronze medal won in the 470 event, after hanging to Silver up to the last leg, should secure the duo some valuable points in the SSL rankings with the Olympic Games one of the top scored event with 4000 points for grab. The next ranking update should see their lead increase over the other French Olympians!
On September 10th the next three SSL Gold Cup members will join the team France. The first two will be selected through the skipper and crew rankings while the third will be the captain’s choice! Stay tuned!
